New Zumba class

Every Friday, 5:30 to 6:30 PM, with Audrey

Class on February 22 is FREE!

Zumba is a Latin-inspired dance class. A few of the rhythms that students will learn are Salsa, Cumbia, Reggaeton, Bhangra, and Hip Hop. This class welcomes students of all fitness levels; modifications will be shown to either increase or decrease the level of intensity to meet each individual’s needs. No prior dance experience necessary!

Couples’ Yoga

YWB presents two different workshops this February for couples, any two individuals who are comfortable working closely with one another, whether siblings, friends, parents and children, or spouses/partners.

Registration: $30 per couple for each class; $15 off for Sustaining Members!

Saturday, February 9, 2-4 PM with sipra

Partners use each other for support and resistance and spend time working closely together in comforting poses in which trust and sharing are an integral part. Partners will also participate in relaxing Thai and oil massage. Deep breathing, deep relaxation, deep stretches!

Saturday, February 16, 3-5 PM with Troy & Eszter

Yoga means to "yoke" or "join together". In this workshop, you and a partner will practice asanas (poses) which build trust and deepen your connection. This partner-based practice will include meditation, breath work, and a gong bath to complete the experience.

Learn and Enjoy Chanting

Last Saturday of each month, 2:30-4:30 PM

Kirtans are ancient chants from India, consisting of short phrases in praise of the divine. Most are many thousands of years old. Consider this a focused raising of energy to create harmony and love within and around one’s being. This chanting session is with the professional musical team Spanda Xpress.
